A cotton flannel cowl, featuring leather and brass closures, sun printed with ferns and modified with logwood.
Sun printing, formally known as cyanotypes, is the process of placing items on fabric and exposing it to the sun. The sun turns any part of the fabric it touches blue. Modifying the sun prints with logwood (a natural dye) shifts the bright blue to dark blue/almost black and the white areas to a purple grey.
Hand wash avoiding soaps with washing soda. Hang, lay flat or machine dry.
